"While they will grow the pie, it does not preclude their larger share even as your actual pie remains stagnant."
Which country has more poets and artists....Canada or, say, Sudan?
"The Russian economy in contrast has grown under Putin. It’s trade surplus has built up. France and Germany have been working with Russia to develop economically."
OMG....you must be getting your info from a graphic novel. Russia is a kleptocracy of a bunch of oligarchs bleeding the economy dry. Russia's per capita GDP is below Greece and Latvia. It's total GDP is lower that much smaller UK, Italy, or France. If it weren't for extractive industries (gas and oil), Russia would be in the same boat as Tibet.
"A strong Europe including Russia is not an U.S. goal because next will be a completely integrated Europe-Asia economic bloc to keep US out and back to Americas only. Spreading liberal democracy is good until Russia can become a rising economic power also."
This is lunacy at its most vivid. A strong Europe including Russia is very much in US interest. Not least of which, if that were the case, Russia wouldn't be murdering mothers and their children in neighboring countries.
"US knows full well Putin will never be obedient to US capitalists."
Russia doesn't need to be "obedient to US capitalists". It just needs to allow its own people to use their extensive talent and skills to produce goods and services that the rest of the world wants and share the benefits of that work with its population....kind of like, say, Canada. You know, rather than rob, steal, and plunder its own citizens while murdering those of neighboring countries.
