Mostly I mean specific people who advocate for policies that make it easier to be a predatory capitalist and avert policies that make the lives of those who aren't predatory capitalists more comfortable.

We have more than enough evidence to show that state capitalism in its various forms just doesn't work. It gives us all the disbenefits you enumerate....and more. Democratic capitalism (or the variant of it that gets called democratic socialism) is preferred....and possible. If we had more Bernie and less Donnie, we'd be there. But along the way, we may have to be happy (for the moment) with some Hillary or Joe, as well.
