Other than play music and provide the weather report when asked, it was never clear to me just what Alexa was FOR. Turning lights on and off? That's not something I needed much help with as it was. Ordering stuff online? Even when I know what I want, I like to look. You know, read the reviews, all that. Even that weather report thing is already done by my phone pretty well.

I suppose I could ask it for recipes, ask what the latest COVID rate per capita in FL is and so on. But does it do that sort of thing? If I have to wonder, I'm not buying.
