I do have one quibble with your article and others here on Medium that express rightful outrage at the latest "MAGA-churches" and that is that it presents all this as a fairly recent problem.

Christianity (and Judaism and Islam) has NEVER brought anything but injury, harm, and violent oppression to the world. After the first few decades, Christianity has been a thoroughly corrupt and criminal project that operates in direct contradiction to anything in the New Testament.

As I said in a comment to another Medium article that reported on the demise of "American Christianity", the sooner it's dead and gone, the better. Not just the right wingers who fill up the auditoria in Georgia and Texas....all of it.
