There's no such thing as "bogus paid for". Everything is either paid for or it's not. Do you imagine anyone gets a check from the US and wonders if they just got "bogus paid"? No. They don't. The bank credits their account just as if they had deposited $100 bills. And they can write checks on it to anyone in the world, all of whom will accept that check as payment in full.
