When I was younger, I would have read your article and thought, "That's right...we need more conversation."

Now that I'm older, my thoughts are, "You're wrong. Proposing "conversation" is carrying water for the forces of evil."

We've been in "conversation" with the opposition for decades...and here we are. They don't simply disagree with us...they want to get rid of us.

So, no, I'm not eager to sit across the table with folks who see me as an infection to be isolated and expelled from the body politic. I'm more inclined to do what I can to kick their asses, figuratively speaking of course.

Their recent mantra is "Fuck Your Feelings". I'm down with that, actually. As a practical matter, let's dispense with the niceties and commence with the fight. Because a fight is just what it is.
