Wow. And we thought the Qanon folks were nuts. We're not surprised you didn't link to anything in this paragraph given the difficulty of finding ANYBODY who believed that Russia's economic collapse(s) have been good for anyone. Whatever else is true about capitalists, they're constantly invoking the "pie grows" vision rather than the "we all have to fight for a piece of a static pie" lie. The notion that anyone, least of all our European allies, did not want Russia to join the world of relatively peaceful, somewhat democratic, reasonably economically stable regimes rather than the rogue kleptocracy its become of its own accord is ludicrous on its face.
